Two Worcester Graduates Made Partners at Local Law Firm

Dan and Phil

Phil Harris and Daniel Williams are now partners at Quality Solicitors Parkinson Wright in Worcestershire.

Studying together, they took their Law LLB (hons) degree at the ³ÉÈËBÕ¾, graduating in 2020, before undertaking postgraduate courses at the University of Law, Birmingham.

Phil, now a Family Law Solicitor specialising in public law and children’s matters said: “Particularly with family law, two days are very rarely the same because you’re dealing with people’s real lives, and their circumstances are often different.”

He added: “It’s nice to have the acknowledgement for four years of hard work, and I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to progress in a firm which is focused on developing its staff. It’s a good feeling!”

Daniel is now a Family Law Solicitor, specialising in divorce and finances. He said: “I was made a partner within four years of joining the firm, and I was really happy with that.”

He added: “My goal was to become a solicitor, and I managed to do that. To become a partner was very satisfying and means I’ve reached all the goals I set out for myself when I left university.”

Dr Josie Welsh is the Course Leader for all LLB Law programmes at the ³ÉÈËBÕ¾.

She said: “We are absolutely delighted for both Phil and Dan on their fantastic achievement.”

She continued: “It is truly impressive to achieve this within such a short time since graduating from university, and they were lovely students to work with during their time on our course. They were focused on their goals, but open to discussion, debate and feedback.”

She added: “We love nothing more than seeing our graduates fulfil their ambitions, and Phil and Dan’s achievements in legal practice are an excellent example to all current students and any aspiring solicitors, that the hard work really does pay off.”
