Bunty is a Senior Lecturer in Midwifery. Her most recent clinical background was as a lead midwife on Labour Ward. She also has experience in a variety of settings such as community, stand-alone birth units and practice development.
Bunty is passionate about LGBTQIA+ equity and inclusivity in perinatal services and is a passionate advocate for human rights during the childbearing journey. She is currently undertaking research for her MSc Midwifery, which explores student midwives’ experiences of caring for trans and/or gender non-conforming people. Bunty is also currently completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education.
