David has always wanted to make a difference. Initially, he completed a degree in Environmental Studies. This led to jobs with Scottish Wildlife Trust, The Youth Hostel Association and South Holland District Council. These roles involved wildlife management, development of environmental policy and teaching.
However, after much deliberation, David retrained as a Nurse. After qualifying, he worked in surgical urology, Intensive Care and Research. David joined the ³ÉÈËBÕ¾ as a Lecturer in August 2021.

Teaching interests
David's teaching areas of interest are nursing theory and skills. He is the module leader for Human Anatomy and Physiology for Person Centred Care and contributes to other modules especially Nursing Skills and Simulation.
Research Interests
David is interested in the pedagogy of teaching anatomy and physiology for nursing students. He is completing an MA in education and hopes to further this area of research in subsequent courses and publications.
Membership of Professional Bodies
David is a qualified nurse and registered with the NMC. He is also a fellow of the Institute for Higher Education (FHEA).
