Jennifer is a senior member of the academic teaching team. She has been teaching and leading in Higher Education since 2008 holding roles including personal academic tutor, module leader, course leader, course director, programme manager, assistant professor, apprenticeship lead, service user and carer engagement lead, associate professor and associate head of school for student experience.

Jennifer is passionate about the inclusive student experience and particularly enjoys facilitating apprentices, those from low socio-economic status groups and international students. She focuses upon developing holistic, employment-focused teaching strategies and assessments co-designing with service users and learners which engage, challenge, and inspire students and apprentices. She believes that relating theory to practice and employment enables students to become confident, competent practitioners reaching their potential to succeed in the workplace.
