Kay is a senior lecturer and the course lead for the FdSC Assistant Practitioner course. She is currently module lead and support teaching on this and other courses in the Health & Wellbeing department at Worcester.

Prior to working in education, Kay practiced as a Learning Disabilities nurse. Kay still holds this registration and am passionate about reducing the inequalities experienced by this, and other marginalised groups.

Her research interests centre around Black students’ experience of Higher Education, Widening Participation and Health Inequalities.
