Sarah is from a military background, and since leaving the military she has worked in care homes and multiple trusts across the country doing shifts on wards and A&E. Her nursing career has mainly been in community nursing, which is where her passion lies. She recently left practice after a few years of being a senior community nurse to hopefully inspire, educate and make the next generation of nurses as enthusiastic as she is about nursing (community nursing in particular). 

Qualifications

Bachelor of Nursing with Honours 1st class degree

Physical assessment and clinical reasoning master’s module

Complexities of supportive and end of life care master’s module

NHS Leadership academy award in healthcare leadership foundations

Teaching Interests

All subject areas of adult nursing but will be teaching:

  • NURS2102 (Safe and Effective Care Planning in Adult Nursing)
  • Skills and Simulation for years 2 & 3
