Sarah graduated as a Dietitian in 2006. She has worked in many different hospitals in England and Wales and covered a wide range of clinical dietetic areas including diabetes, gastroenterology, nutrition support, intensive care, paediatrics, home enteral tube feeding and worked on both medical and surgical wards.
Throughout her career Sarah’s initial area of interest was nutrition support, this led into opportunities working with cancer patients and for the past 16 years she has specialised in oncology dietetics.
Alongside being a lecturer Sarah continues to work at Wye Valley NHS Trust (Hereford) as the oncology dietetic lead. She enjoys teaching and supervising students whilst on practice-based education and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and experiences with dietetic students studying at the ³ÉÈËBÕ¾.

BSc Sports Science (University of Glamorgan)
MSc Human Nutrition specialising in Clinical Nutrition (University of Glasgow)
PG Diploma Nutrition and Dietetics (Cardiff Metropolitan University)
Teaching Interests
Sarah has recently moved into higher education following 18 years in clinical practice. She is keen to use her experiences in a wide range of dietetics to ensure dietetic students can convert taught knowledge into practical guidance.
